Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday School class is held on Sunday mornings after worship, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Evening Bible Study

This Bible Study meets on Wednesday evenings, except for the second Wednesday of the month (this is when the Session meets) We meet at 7:00 p.m. in the Lounge at church, and usually go until 8:15 or 8:30 p.m. We are studying the Book of Genesis. This book is foundational for our faith, and important key to understanding the entire Bible. After our discussion of the Scriptures, we take time to share prayer requests and to rejoice in God's blessings. Newcomers are always welcome, and this is a great time to begin, since we are just starting a new book. Bring your Bible and come join us!

Monday Afternoon Bible Study

Each Monday at 1:15 p.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m., First Presbyterian women and friends meet in the Lounge for a Bible Study. We are reading The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Faith Clark leads this group.

Men's Bible Study

The monthly Men's Bible Study is studying the Book of Acts, and this is a great time to join in. This group meets on the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Dave is the leader of this group.

Men's Monthly Luncheon

All church men and their friends are invited to a Dutch-treat luncheon held monthly at various eateries around the area (Women can come too!). Come for fun, food, and fellowship. We meet at the third Monday of each month at noon.  Rides are available. Questions: Ask Walt Schalck or Don Duncan.

Sewing Circle

The Sewing Circle meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 9:15 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m. We can use help with a variety of projects, not all requiring needlework. Bring a sandwich and join us for fellowship and work. We furnish dessert! Contact Vada Whalen for more information.

Afternoon Circle

On the second Thursday of the month at  12:30 p.m., a group of delightful women meet for dessert, followed by a Bible study. Each class is about 2 hours long. We have some great teachers and the topics vary. Lots of good desserts and fellowship. Please plan on coming. The contact person is Ruth Ingold.

Support our Missionaries

The Outreach and Evangelism (O & E) Committee would like to encourage you to take a more active role in supporting our missionaries. While an increase in giving would never be discouraged, we are talking about a different kind of support here: personal support via personal communication. Our missionaries are in foreign countries, doing hard and often lonely, but important work. They consider our congregation more than just a financial supporter. Rather, they think of us as partners in their work. It is a great encouragement to them when they get notes...birthday cards, holiday greetings, e-mails, etc. If you would like more ideas, see a member of the O & E Committee. The addresses for each missionary will soon be posted on the O & E bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.
