Fellowship
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have
fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies
us from all sin. (1 John 1:7, NIV)
First Presbyterian Church offers a variety
of fellowship opportunities. Listed below are some examples of our
groups for children, young people, and adults. For more information
and specific meeting times, please see our calendar and events pages.

Presbyterian Women's Circle - All women
are invited to join the Afternoon Circle for Bible study, prayer,
snacks and fellowship.

Sewing - Women from the church to
create quilts, knitted items, and Christmas gift bags for the Christian
Industrial League, and A Safe Place. Participants bring a sandwich
for lunch; coffee and dessert are provided.

Men's Prayer Breakfast - All men are invited
to meet for fellowship, prayer and Bible study.

Junior High Fellowship - Students in grades
6 through 8 are invited to join this group, Students participate
in a time for games, a Bible lesson and prayer time, then they
enjoy a light dinner. Then they may participate in the Chapel Choir and
the Handbell Choir.

TUXIS - TUXIS is the high school
fellowship group. The name stands for Teens United in Christ (symbolized
by X) in Service. This group meets weekly on Sunday evenings for
activities, fellowship, prayer and a time in God's word. Practical
applications of Christian precepts to daily living are emphasized.
